Job description

The Marketing & Communications Team works on projects that include a wide variety of internally and externally developed titles, and a host of creative assets, to promote and support the 11 bit studios brand and our games. The Brand Manager will play a critical role in managing activities around both the brand of 11 bit studios and vision for games we develop and publish, ensuring they remain distinctive, aligned with the company's vision, and consistently resonant with global audiences.


This role focuses on developing and executing, in cooperation with other departments of the Marketing & Communications team, go-to-market strategies and brand activation plans, ensuring that 11 bit studios is positioned as the best independent studio that brings meaningful, gameplay-driven experiences that stay with players long after the game ends. The Brand Manager works cross-functionally to align Communication, Creative, Art, and external partners to create unified marketing efforts that connect with gamers.


Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Brand Manager is responsible for guiding brand evolution, overseeing the development of marketing campaigns, and ensuring all communication aligns with 11 bit's values and strategic goals.


Job requirements

You will:

  • Develop and implement innovative go-to-market strategies and activation plans. Generate new ideas and solutions that contribute to the growth and differentiation of the brand.

  • Use consumer data, industry insights, and analytics to inform communication planning and brand strategies. Prioritize target audience segments and key brand features to create unique, differentiated positioning in the market.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across departments, including Development, Creative, Art, Communications, Marketing Production and Business Development, to ensure alignment and deliver on campaign objectives.

  • Support the development and execution of marketing, advertising, and promotional assets, including trailers, logos, and digital assets (social media, websites, etc.).

  • Partner with Communications team to ensure messaging is aligned with product and brand strategies, ensuring consistency across all media and touchpoints.

  • Maintain and oversee the content marketing calendar, outlining all promotional efforts across channels to ensure consistent and cohesive messaging.

  • Serve as the brand expert and consultant for transmedia initiatives, including partnerships related to movies, television, books, toys, and other licensed products, ensuring they align with the 11 bit studios brand.

    You have:

  • 3+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or related roles, ideally within the gaming, entertainment, or tech industry.

  • Proven track record of managing and executing large-scale brand and marketing campaigns with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong understanding of brand strategy, go-to-market planning, and the ability to craft differentiated, compelling brand positioning.

  • Ability to use data and insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize brand communication efforts.

  • Exceptional collaboration skills to work across departments and support multiple stakeholders to deliver unified and cohesive marketing efforts.

  • A strong creative sense to partner with the Creative team and support the development of impactful marketing assets and campaigns, while ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and drive consensus.
